Our Mission
Lowell Chess Club is a safe environment for Lowell students to celebrate the board game dating back to 1500 years ago. We are all passionate chess players determined to foster the community by hosting competitions and social-events within Lowell High School.
Our Story
Lowell Chess Club is one of, if not the oldest-running student-led club at Lowell. Prior to the Covid Pandemic, Patrick Fahey, a retired Math Teacher and the former sponsor for Lowell Chess Club, led our team to achieve several impressive tournament victories. We, officers of Lowell Chess Club, are committed to revive Lowell Chess Club back to its former glory.
